The RAM brand has a lengthy history of building the toughest trucks available. This is a legacy that the American automaker has every intention of prolonging, as proved by the recent unveiling of the 2017 RAM 2500 Power Wagon. After the truck made its debut, its capability was shown off on the stage. Check it out for yourself in the clip below!
What makes the new RAM 2500 Power Wagon so capable is its hydraulic steering, high strength-steel body, unique "Articulink" suspension and 12,000 pound electric winch. Contributing to the truck's toughness is its 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine which generates 410 horsepower, 429 lb.-ft. of torque and boosts the Power Wagon's towing capacity to 10,030 pounds.
We'll know much more about the new Power Wagon such as fuel economy and pricing in the coming months, so stay tuned to the Bill Gaddis Chrysler blog. The truck is scheduled to join the new RAM lineup in our Muncie, IL showroom later this year.
